You may have noticed we are late again with this issue but we do have a good excuse.

We have recently been nominated for an award, 'Best use of new technology' in the innaugural Free Press Business Awards. If you have visited our studio before you will already know we have the latest kit and update our software as versions become available but how we use it is the thing and the judges who visited us were given the grand tour.

We showed them all the bits of tech we are proud of from the high speed LAN (Local Area Network) and Xserve Raid data storage system to peer to peer video conferencing and online proofing, not to mention our FTP 'site (File Transfer Protocol) for our clients to upload to and download from without security fears.

The building itself also employs the best use of technology with high performance glass and advanced insulation in its construction, its plumbing has a 'grey water' system which utilises rain water while the state-of-the-art alarm system detects heat, movement and smoke only allows members of staff to arm and disarm it.
