Quite often we are asked to design and mount our unique 'New Horizon' graphic panels. (Previously shown here). The latest commission came from the historical village of Barnack. The design and layout describes a journey through the history of the village highlighting points of interest and areas of natural beauty.
As usual print quality and longevity of the image is paramount as these signs will be permanently displayed outside and mounted on a large piece of 'Barnack Rag' a stone found locally and one used in the construction of Peterborough's cathedral, the abbeys at Thorney and Crowland and ecclesiastical buildings in Sawtry, Ramsey and Ely. This panel is at an early stage of construction, and is shown here in artwork form. The printed output is currently being applied to its base and will undergo encapsulation using a special technique known only to us, using resins and gels which make the final product long lasting, UV proof and vandal resistant.
We will let you know when the completed product is in situ.
