After several years producing Nature News for the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) we were delighted when they approached us to re-design their periodical magazine. The conservation of our natural habitat is paramount and something we strongly believe in. The brief required us to bring the magazine right up to date while not moving too far from its origins; this Is a readership who can be sensitive to big departures in style.

We decided to keep things simple regarding typography, using sans serif fonts that are allowed to 'breathe' on the page, while a subdued colour palette, taking keys from nature, complements the beautiful photography at our disposal.
